Uploading a station logo

Feature avaialble for all myLPFM users.

Use this option to update your station's logo. This logo is displayed at the following places:

• Throughout the myLPFM system
• On the Voluntary Public Inspection File system if your station is set up there
• In the National LPFM Station Directory at lpfm.us
• On your station's listing at FCCdata.org
• For REC Client users, on your station's public emergency alerts page

Technical guidelines for station logos

Station logos will only be accepted in PNG and JPG file formats. Please avoid uploading transparent PNG image files as they may have undesired results on the various systems where they are displayed.

If possible, the image should be a 1 to 1 aspect ratio. This means that both the height and width of the image should be the same. Our system will attempt to compensate for images that do not meet the 1:1 aspect ratio, but the outcome may be a stretched or crunched image.

Content guidelines for station logos

• Station logo images must identify the station.
• The image may also include any station slogans or promo lines.
• Logos must be G rated and not contain any objectional material.
• Logos may not promote specific programs on the station.
• Logos should not include any specific political message.
• Logos may not include any commercial advertising, such as a station underwriter.
• Logos may not contain any copyrighted material including photos of artists.

Uploading the image

Click on [Choose File] which will bring up a box that shows your local system, find your desired image and click on [Open]. The box will dispappear and the file name will appear on myLPFM after the [Choose File] button. Click on the [Upload Image] button to complete the upload.
